Flower Pick Card for Mom

My daughter selected a beautiful hanging basket to give her Memaw for Mother's Day, and of course we needed a matching card to go with it!🌸
This project is simple to cut with your digital die cutter, and assembly is super easy. The heart in the center opens just like a mini card, giving you the perfect little spot to sign your name or write a short message. Although it’s perfect for pairing with a hanging basket, it would also make a beautiful addition to a bouquet or vase of flowers.
While I designed this with Mother’s Day in mind, it would also work wonderfully for birthdays, get well wishes, or a simple “just because” surprise for mom.
The PDF and SVG digital cutting file can be purchased in my store here.
Let's get started!

A Few Suggestions:
The design measures approximately 9" x 3", but feel free to scale the design up or down to fit your needs.
If you don't have a digital die cutter, you can print out the PDF design and use carbon transfer paper to trace it onto your cardstock and then cut it out.
Play with different color combinations. Glitter and shimmer cardstock look great and will make your lettering stand out.
Cut it Out:

Assemble the Heart Card:

Fold the heart piece in half and glue the white piece on the inside and the pink piece on the outside.
Glue Everything Else:
Mount it:

I used hot glue to mount my design onto one of these clear sticks. I opted for the clear stick because I already had a bunch on hand for when I make cake toppers. A floral pick or a wooden dowel would work great too!
